HyTAK Plugin

HyTAK is a Hytera TAK plugin integration which enables you to send your own position/location, chat messages, markers, and geometries from the ATAK application via the Digital channel on your network of Hytera radios to another TAK enabled phone. This information is transmitted through the paired radio itself and does not require Internet to function, so it is completely off-grid. 

Digital (or DMR) channels enable enhanced security for your radio networks by facilitating the ability to utilize encryption on your channels. Any data transmitted on an encrypted DMR channel is safe from prying eyes who intend to listen to or collect your data.

Pair your Hytera radio to your ATAK enabled phone via Bluetooth to connect to the HyTAK plugin to get started. See the attached user manual and video for more help configuring your radios and plugin.

Notes

You will need a Hytera PC152 Programming cable to configure your radio to communicate with the phone correctly. If you purchase a Hytera radio along with the plugin, then the radio will be programmed and configured prior to shipment.

Upon your purchase of the HyTAK plugin, we will dispatch an automated email which will request you to send in your radio serial number so that we can generate a license key which will enable you to pair your radio to your phone. With your purchase, you can install HyTAK on any number of phones which you would like, but the plugin license will only be valid for the radio which is licensed for connection to the phone. A single radio can only connect to one phone at a time.

Your purchase of this plugin includes a perpetual license for HyTAK, meaning that it will never expire. Minor version updates will be provided free of charge, while major versions or overhauls, such as in the case of a V2.0 would be provided as an option at a nominal cost.
