This two-day course “RTO BASICS” will go in Central California just south of Hollister, CA at the LMS Defense facility on April 15th and 16th.

The course will consist of one day of “classroom” type instruction and one day of practical application. Details regarding the packing list, location, start times, and curriculum will be sent to participants in an email prior to the start date of the course. The training facility is somewhat off the beaten path so please be prepared with enough time to drive in to the facility for the start of class on day one. Lodging is also included in shared bunk-style rooms and camping will be available on site at the facility. Most students find it most convenient to arrive the evening prior to the course starting.

Students will expect to learn everything that you need to know about communications basics to become an ASSET to your small team, to include:

• Signal Theory / Wave Propagation

• Radio Programming

• Radio Etiquette & Reporting

• Comm / Signal Planning

• LOS Analysis

• PACE Planning

• Hands-on & Practical Application

This course will be conducted aboard the LMS Defense facility and the surrounding area.
